Saturday Viewing: Stanford at Oregon
(Written by jsnell)
For those who listened to us lament that the Stanford-Oregon game on Oct. 2 would be starting after 11 p.m. Eastern time, good news! Not only has the start time been moved to 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, but it’ll also be the ESPN GameDay location Saturday morning.
Should be a nice showcase for two Pac-10 teams ranked in the top 10. Would be nice if the GameDay crew makes it to Berkeley some year, though…

I’m going to call this game the Bitter Bowl, as in “I’m bitter Cal isn’t in this position, playing a meaningful Pac 10 game in the national spotlight to have the early inside track to the Pac 10 championship.”
Also, I’m mentally preparing myself for the fact that the ‘furd very well may make the Rose Bowl again before Cal. I’m not saying they are going to this year, but with Luck behind center they are in a much better position to do so than the bears–at least until we have a better than average QB behind center. That hasn’t been the case since the Oregon game in 2007.
