It’s great to have you guys back, and great that CAL FOOTBALL is once again underway. Let the crying and lamenting begin!
Really looking forward to the Colorado game. In particular, I’ll be looking for improvement from game 1, but wouldn’t be surprised if we struggled some. I remember back in ’07 we had a tough time @ Colorado State, and fingers were kind of retroactively being pointed at the altitude factor (then again, that was the infamous 2007 season, so what do we know?).
Personally I still think it’s hilarious that Cal basically traded Coach Marshall for Coaches Kiesau and Ambrose. We seem to have gotten the better end of that deal! From what I’ve gathered, there are already grumblings as to Colorado’s o-line play @ Hawaii. It’s certainly no coincidence that our line suffered greatly in ’09 and ’10 when Marshall took over. Maybe if Colorado fans all get together and say “Llahsram,” he’ll go away (save them, Mxyzptlk!).
ALL HAIL THE FOOTBALL LORDS that we got Michalczik back. For reference, I believe I heard Tedford pronounce it mi(like michigan)-CALL-chick.
Thanks for the entertaining podcast. GO BEARS!

Great podcast as usual. Man that was a close game, I wasn’t too sure if the team would collapse after Colorado started to gain some momentum in the end. Also what is up with us not being able to get any penetration on Colorado’s O-Line. Who’s their O-Line coach? It must be Mxyzptlk because it certainly can’t be Marshall; where was that type of O-line play when he was coaching Cal’s line?
