Told ya so

Tedford elaborates on why he kept the team in the dark about Bridgeford starting:
“The (number of practice) reps were the same. We practiced the way we wanted to practice. I didn’t want to get a bunch of distraction going on, didn’t feel like it was something our opponent needed to know.”
It was all about deception to Nevada… Ugh.

Well if you think about it, trying to trick a good school like USC or Oregon is pointless. They’re most likely going to come out and beat us silly no matter what we do.
The only thing that was worse than Bridgeford were the Cal white helmets. Even Oregon fans think we’ve gone too far with that…

This is the first time I have ever seen a HC try to trick both his opponent and his own team in the same game. Just ridiculous and frustrating to see a head coach in his 11th season make such a rookie mistake.
I have lost all hope that Tedford can take Cal to a RB and now have serious questions whether Tedford can keep Cal competitive in the PAC 12.
