2010 Podcast #1: Hope Springs Eternal
(Written by jsnell)
We’re back like a recurring hamstring strain!
In this first podcast for 2010, Jason Snell and Ken Crawford discuss the podcast that we never bothered to post, and preview the entire 2010 football season. Plus, Jason talks about where he’s sitting — that part’s truly riveting, by the way — and we pretty much yammer on for an hour. But hey! You’re not tired of us yet, right? RIGHT???!

Great to have you guys back on again. I really should be utilizing this time to hit the books, but can’t resist the allure of Cal commentary.
I find your comments on Erickson most intriguing. Most hot-seat discussions have focused on RichRod, Zook, Hawkins, etc., but I haven’t seen many discussing the malingering ASU coach. His 3 years have been quite mysterious, an androgynous mix of MANLY defense and quite-less-than-manly offense (maybe they need Burfict to play both sides???). The shadow of his 2007 run doesn’t help him of course, but I think it is commonly overlooked that this triumphant first season came in the infamous “year of the upset” and perhaps shouldn’t be given as much credit as has been doled out. With all this in mind, I’d have to agree that Erickson would be on his way out, at even higher chance than Wulff would be.
Long live Tedford!
